If you had continued the truce, these good men and women would not be dead! They would have still been here!

How can you claim that the bogies are allied with us when Clarke's own Ministry of Peace (and your beloved Nightwatch ;) ) wax poetically about the dangers of trusting aliens?

What if the bogies were using a "divide and conquer" strategem? You've just played into their hands.
