This should have been considered before you and your rebel friends broke
the truce. Something could have been worked out to save the crews before
the ships are destroyed. How many more good and brave people must
needlessly perish? And what of the bugs that caused the truce in the
first place? They may be waiting to pick off what little remains of the
survivors.
It's not too late to work out something that will allow crews on either
side to evacuate from crippled vessels. We are all still members of the
EarthForce Command, the "good guys." Let's work out something now, in
memory of those who have paid the price of our mistakes.
