General Hague may see himself as some sort of modern-day Caesar, but the rest of us are soldiers sworn to defend the Earth Alliance constitution. One of the most sacred tenants of that constitution is civilian control of the military. We do not dictate policy, we enforce it! Those of you who think that Earth would be a better place if the military ran things should re-read some of that "long and...bloody history" you talk so blithly about!

I know the last couple of years have been rough on everyone -- the death of President Santiago, alien ships fighting in EA-controlled space, insurgents back home and in the colonies -- but that's no reason to do something stupid and abandon your sworn duty. If Hague has any evidence to back up his allegations against the lawful President of the Earth Alliance, then let him bring those charges before the High Court. Otherwise, stop this foolishness now before anyone gets hurt!
