Sensors report Code Omega signals from Ishtar and Quicksilver!! SIR!! COEUS is moving to close the range with us!!"

His face contorted into a terrible rictus of fury, Captain Wikan barked,"ALL BATTERIES FREE FIRE!!! THREAT AXIS IS DEAD AHEAD!! BURN THEM FROM THE SKIES!!"

Once again a scarlet lance leapt from the forward battery of the Bellerephon, this time savaging the hull of the Loyalist Carrier COEUS.

As damage reports flooded in, Wikan realized that his Starfury squadrons had been decimated, leaving his defenses stretched to their limit. "Space has rarely known a graveyard such as this....." he whispered to himself.
